Connect
SSH
Key-only shell access to the booked Mac, using the host, user, and port on your booking page.
Password login is off on every machine. You connect with a key whose public half you added under SSH keys in your account or on the booking page. The host, user, and port are on the booking page, with the full command ready to copy.
Add your key
- 1Print your public key:
cat ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub(make one first withssh-keygen -t ed25519if you have none). - 2Paste the whole line under SSH keys and press Add key.
- 3Wait up to a minute for the Mac to pick it up.
Add one key per laptop or teammate. Removing a key takes it off your Macs within a minute.
Connect once
ssh -i ~/.ssh/id_ed25519 -p PORT USER@HOSTSave the host
Add an entry to your SSH config so you can type ssh studio instead.
~/.ssh/config
Host studio HostName HOST User USER Port PORT IdentityFile ~/.ssh/id_ed25519 ServerAliveInterval 30Keep a session alive
Long builds and model runs should survive a dropped laptop lid. Run them inside tmux.
bash
brew install tmuxtmux new -s work# detach with Ctrl+B then D, reattach later with:tmux attach -t work
