Quickstart
Book a Mac Studio, add your SSH key, and open a shell. No waiting for an email.
This guide takes you from an empty browser tab to a shell on a booked Mac Studio.
Before you start
You need an SSH key. If you already have one in ~/.ssh, skip to the steps.
ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -C "[email protected]"cat ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pubKeep the .pub output handy. You paste that public key into your account, and it is installed on the Mac for you.
Book and connect
- 1Open Pricing and pick a chip, then a memory size on the card.
- 2Choose Hourly for a fixed block of hours, or Monthly for a machine that stays up.
- 3Enter your name, email, and the start time, then pay.
- 4A free Mac is assigned straight away. Your booking page shows its host, user name, and port.
- 5Paste your public key under SSH keys on that page. It reaches the Mac within a minute.
- 6Copy the
sshcommand from the page and run it.
Connect
