Read the concepts

Is this a virtual machine?

No. Each booking is a physical Mac Studio. You do not share the CPU, the GPU, or the disk with another customer.

How do I connect?

As soon as you pay, a free Mac is assigned and your booking page shows the host, the user name, and the port. Add your SSH public key there and connect within a minute. Screen Sharing and VNC are there for desktop work.

Which configs can I rent?

M4 Max at 36, 48, 64, and 128 GB. M3 Ultra at 96, 256, and 512 GB. M5 Ultra at 128, 256, and 512 GB. SSD size is on each card, and every number can be edited in the operator desk.

What is on the machine?

A current macOS install and Xcode. You have admin rights for the term and can install your own tools. We do not preinstall your licenses.

What happens to my files?

The disk is erased when the booking ends or is cancelled, before the Mac is offered again. Copy your work off the machine before the term ends.

How does the test checkout work?

Hourly bookings charge the hours you reserve. Monthly bookings are a flat rate for that config. Checkout is a test payment: the charge is captured and refunded immediately, and the card number never leaves the browser.
